The cab has been fully upholstered with a custom bench seat featuring piping, along with matching door panels and headliner. Modern Dolphin gauges and a Retrosound stereo have been fitted, while the fuel tank has been relocated to a position under the bed. The engine bay is tidy, and the truck is equipped with power disc brakes, power rack-and-pinion steering, independent front suspension and modern air conditioning.
The Black exterior is complemented by Whitewall tires, nice chrome, a wooden bed and dual exhaust. The driver-side window glass is cracked. This old school RestoMod is located in Laguna, California.

🧠 Did you know?
The 1954 Chevrolet 3100 was the half-ton model in Chevrolet’s Advance Design truck line, a generation introduced in 1947 and built through early 1955. That year brought the series’ only major restyle: a one-piece curved windshield without a center divider, a new crossbar “bull-nose” grille with parking lamps set into it, horizontal cargo-box rails instead of the earlier angled tops, and a lower loading height from a reduced rear frame kick-up. Power came from a 235.5-cubic-inch overhead-valve inline-six with insert bearings and full-pressure lubrication, replacing the older 216-cubic-inch engine. A three-speed manual was standard, a four-speed manual was optional, and a four-speed Hydra-Matic automatic became available for the first time. The 3100 rode a 116-inch wheelbase, carried a half-ton payload rating with a 4,000-pound gross vehicle weight, and sold new in a price range of roughly $1,085 to $1,960 depending on body style, which also included panel, canopy express, Suburban, and chassis-cab variants.
