❤️ From the Seller
This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible brings together some of the most desirable ingredients of the first-generation Camaro: factory Rally Sport equipment, V8 power, a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, 12-bolt Positraction rear end, and open-air styling. Represented as a real factory Rally Sport, this Camaro features the unmistakable RS appearance package highlighted by its hidden-headlight front grille, along with Super Sport-style trim that gives the car the aggressive look enthusiasts associate with Chevrolet's performance models. Under the hood is a 350ci Chevrolet V8 backed by a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. Power is sent through a desirable 12-bolt Positraction rear end, creating a classic drivetrain combination that's equally at home cruising around town or enjoying a winding back road. The Camaro is also equipped with power steering and power front disc brakes, two welcome features that make it considerably more enjoyable to drive. A tilt steering column adds another level of comfort behind the wheel. The Rally Sport hidden-headlight treatment is one of the defining styling features of the 1967-1969 Camaro and gives this convertible an unmistakable first-generation appearance. Combined with the SS-style details and its muscular stance, this Camaro has the right period performance look from virtually every angle. Inside, the cabin presents beautifully and keeps the classic Camaro experience front and center. Drop the convertible top, grab the floor-mounted 4-speed, and the appeal of this car becomes immediately apparent. With its 350 V8, Muncie 4-speed, 12-bolt Posi, power steering, power disc brakes, factory RS equipment, and convertible body, this 1968 Camaro combines the appearance and equipment enthusiasts look for with a drivetrain made to be enjoyed. Whether headed to a local show, out for a weekend cruise, or simply driven with the top down, this 1968 Camaro RS Convertible offers classic first-generation Camaro styling with all the right ingredients. Located in Sunny Naples, FL

‼️ It's important to distinguish this Camaro's configuration accurately: it is being represented as a genuine factory Rally Sport with Super Sport-style trim, rather than making an unsupported claim that it is a documented factory RS/SS.

🧠 Did you know?
The 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport convertible was a first-generation F-body pony car on a 108-inch wheelbase, measuring about 184.7 inches overall. Chevrolet built 20,440 Camaro convertibles that year. The Rally Sport package (RPO Z22) added hidden headlights behind a black full-width grille, revised taillights with backup lamps in the valance, extra bright moldings, and RS badges; it was ordered on 40,977 Camaros in total and could be combined with the Super Sport package. For 1968 the side vent windows disappeared in favor of Astro Ventilation, and federally required side marker lights were added. Power ranged from a 140-hp 230-cubic-inch six to optional small-block and SS 396 V8s. A factory Z/28 convertible was not a regular production offering.
