Maintenance & Vehicle History
This Firebird was owned by the previous Owner for many years before being traded to the current seller. It was driven and inspected shortly after acquisition and reportedly performs very well, with tight steering and smooth operation on the road. The paint, body and interior have been restored to a very high standard, with only a couple of minor cosmetic imperfections noted. The glass is crystal clear, the doors open and close properly, and the original-style interior remains exceptionally clean. The car retains substantial original documentation, including PHS documentation, the original window sticker, original build sheet, Owner's manual and a 1967 letter from H.L. Pierce Motor Sales in Elgin, Illinois thanking the original customer for the purchase. The odometer shows 26,093 miles, although the actual mileage is unknown. The speedometer, fuel gauge, tachometer, dash lights, wipers, horn, blower motor and radio reportedly work. This Firebird also has strong oil pressure and a functional fast idle system. Located in Clarence, Iowa.

❤️ From the Seller:
“This 1967 Pontiac Firebird H.O. is a classic American muscle car with a 4-speed manual transmission and PHS documentation. If you're looking for a vintage Pontiac Firebird with enthusiast appeal and documented history, this one is worth seeing. 1967 Pontiac Firebird. This beautiful little Firebird is a real 326 high output Firebird. It has the WK engine code which is correct for this car. This car is painted in the correct color. It's paint code NN. It's burgundy. Beautiful white interior. This car outside of the is supposed to have wide ovals on it if it came when it came from the factory, but outside of that, this car is just like it would have been when it rolled off the assembly line back in 1967. And in fact, in my opinion, I think this car is a lot better than it probably would have ever been in 1967. The body, paint, interior on this car are absolutely beautiful. Body gaps are perfect. This is one gorgeous car. The paint. I found one maybe one or two small little tiny scratches in it that I'll show you. But what a gorgeous ride. This gentleman owned this car for a lot of years. We almost traded this car in two or three different times and finally we ended up taking the car in on trade. We just got the car uh yesterday. I drove the car. I ran it through the shop quick and inspected it and it's just an absolute beautiful ride. The glass is all great in the car. The interior is just beautiful and spotless. It has the um PHS documentations with the car that prove all the uh options this car has. Also has the original window sticker. Um, also with the car is the original build sheet. Um, quite a bit of paperwork, documentation. The original owner's manual is with it. There's the original letter from 1967 um, from HL Pierce Motor Sales in Elgen, Illinois, thanking the customer for their purchase. That's pretty neat. The armrest pads are in great shape. A lot of times you see these Firebirds and they get some cracking in those. These are beautiful. The glass in the car is all crystal clear. Just look how nice them doors open and shut. The door handles are beautiful. The door lock cylinders all work. The uh Rally 2 wheels are in great shape with the caps and rings inside the trunk. What a beautiful car. I love the color. I love the interior. You can buy this car with confidence. This is a very, very good car. Odometer reads 26,093 miles. I don't know if they're, you know, an actual wild car or if it's been rolled over just since it was restored. I'm not sure about that, but runs great. Dash lights work, wipers work, horn works, blower motor. Radio works. Does have a tripod of gauges down below the dash there. You see it's got great oil pressure. 70 lb oil pressure sitting here running cold. Powerful's very nice. Out of the door. Just absolutely gorgeous car. Under the hood. It does have disc brakes on the front. The bottom side of this car is beautiful as well. I've always been partial to the 67s. See one little one little spot right here that was touched up on the main little ship. And there's one tiny little scratch right here. And I'm not so sure if you wanted to maybe sand that and buff it. That might come out tiny little cracks. Fast idle works on the car. I'll kick it off fast idle here. We'll take her out for a spin. Like I say, I drove this car yesterday and it performs just like it should. The hood tack works. This is a beautiful ride. Car drives down the road great. The steering is super tight. Just an allaround beautiful, beautiful car. Okay. Power steering power brakes on this car. E bra works. I think 67 is my favorite year to Firebird of the first generation. I like them all, but 67s and 69. 68s, I'm not as big a fan of the 68s, but seems like you see a lot more 68 and 69 fibers than you do 67s. Production numbers must have been lower on the 67s. Paint, body, interior, this car is second to none. It's a great car. Runs very very good. Speedometer works, gas gauge works, tack works, all these gauges work. If you're looking for a first generation Firebird, I don't think you'll find a better one.”

🧠 Did you know?
The 1967 Pontiac Firebird marked Pontiac’s entry into the pony-car market, arriving alongside the Chevrolet Camaro as part of GM’s new F-body lineup. It was offered in both coupe and convertible form and could be ordered with everything from a 165-horsepower 230-cubic-inch overhead-cam six to the 285-horsepower 326 H.O. V8. At the top was the Firebird 400, powered by a 400-cubic-inch V8 rated at 325 horsepower. A particularly rare option was the Ram Air 400, with functional hood scoops and upgraded engine components; only 65 were built for 1967. Pontiac produced 82,560 Firebirds during the abbreviated 1967 model year, making it a relatively uncommon first-generation Firebird compared with later years.
