Maintenance & Vehicle History
This 1956 Buick Century Estate Wagon is a long-term-owned Florida car with approximately 92,000 miles. It is described as being in solid, amazing condition and very original-looking. The car is clean inside, outside and underneath, with nice upholstery, dash, headliner and carpet. The Maroon and White exterior is complemented by a matching interior and Whitewall tires. The car is identified as Century Estate Wagon Model 69 and is powered by Buick's 322ci V8 rated at 255 horsepower with a 4-barrel carburetor. The Century Estate Wagon has a great deal going for it beyond its condition. The long-term Florida history, original character and distinctive two-tone presentation make this a particularly appealing example of Buick's 1956 wagon lineup. It has the look of a car that has been preserved rather than transformed, with the kind of period-correct presentation that is becoming increasingly difficult to find.

🧠 Did you know?
The 1956 Buick Century Estate Wagon combined the practicality of a full-size station wagon with the performance-oriented character that defined Buick’s Century line. A lesser-known fact is that the Century was Buick’s “big engine in a smaller, lighter car” model, a formula Buick had originally used in the 1930s and revived for 1954. The 1956 Century was powered by Buick’s 322-cubic-inch Nailhead V8, rated at up to 255 horsepower, giving the wagon considerably more performance than many contemporary family vehicles. The Estate Wagon also featured Buick’s distinctive mid-1950s styling, including the broad grille, VentiPorts, and sweeping side trim.
