❤️ From the Seller
"Fantastic car. 1939 Packard 1700 two-door convertible. Man, can you imagine cruising down the road in this thing? 1939. Incredible. Little jump seats back there. Straight six under the hood. Very pretty. Love the sloping lines on this car. Absolutely gorgeous. Stunning color combination, too. Black with the blood leather. Gorgeous. My client does not keep fuel in these. See, he's got a large collection. So, there's another video right below this one with the remote start. These cars were so ahead of their time, too. The goddess of speed. So cool. All these cars were built by hand back in the day. Those skirts, too. Working spotlight as well. Obviously, it articulates and moves around. Nice big lofty bench. Interior has been redone. Man, love the Art Deco gauges. So neat. That's showing 56,670 miles. Also has an electric fuel pump in here. That's a cool clock. Couldn't get the glove box to open. Straight six under the hood. This is when cars were not complicated. Dual horns, 6 volt. It's got a generator in it. New radiator hose. Has a thermostat, too. These open and close. That's your thermostat. Straight six. I just run forever. Fired right up, too."

🧠 Did you know?
The 1939 Packard 1700 was the entry-level model in Packard’s 17th Series, commonly known as the Packard Six. Powered by a 245 cubic-inch inline-six engine producing about 100 horsepower, it offered Packard’s renowned quality, smooth ride, and elegant styling at a more affordable price point. Available in body styles such as touring sedans, club coupes, and convertibles, the 1700 featured refined details like the optional column-mounted Handishift transmission. While less powerful than its One-Twenty sibling (Model 1701), it helped Packard maintain strong sales volume during the late Depression era and remains a desirable, well-built pre-war classic today.
