Maintenance & Vehicle History
You are looking at a RARE 1996 Corvette! For starters it is a Collector's Edition, making it one of just 5,412 built. Even more rare than that is the LT-4 under the hood, mated to a 6-Speed Manual transmission. Even more rare is the F45 suspension this Corvette has, making it just 1 of 101 built and 1 of just 157 Collector Edition's built with an LT4 and a Light Gray interior. This beauty is RARE!!
This example is exquisite inside and out and has been garage kept, meticulously maintained, adult owned, and babied! It has a clean CarFax and a clean/clear George title which shows Actual mileage. The car has been garage kept and maintained, with receipts included for tires, oil changes, and other service items. Included with the vehicle are two full service manuals, the factory Owner’s manual, and a plastic car cover. The Collector Edition package includes Sebring Silver Metallic paint, Black convertible top, and Light Gray leather interior. Two known issues are noted: the driver-side power mirror is inoperable, and the washer fluid pump is not working. It is located in Murphy, North Carolina.
🧠 Did you know?
The 1996 Chevrolet Corvette Collector Edition with the LT4 engine was the high-performance pinnacle of the final C4-generation year, blending commemorative styling with the most powerful small-block V8 ever offered in a production Corvette at the time. Exclusive Sebring Silver Metallic paint, silver five-spoke ZR-1-style wheels, chrome "Collector Edition" emblems, black brake calipers with silver lettering, and perforated sport seats embroidered with "Collector Edition" in black, light gray, or torch red distinguished these models, while the optional 330-horsepower 5.7-liter LT4—featuring aluminum cylinder heads, higher 10.8:1 compression, a more aggressive camshaft, and distinctive red intake manifold and spark plug wires—was paired exclusively with the ZF six-speed manual transmission for superior performance over the standard 300-hp LT1. A total of 5,412 Collector Editions were built across coupe and convertible body styles, with the LT4 option elevating them to coveted status among enthusiasts as the ultimate daily-drivable C4 Corvettes.
