Vehicle History

This 1972 Chevrolet Suburban is a classic three-door hauler with the kind of V8 and Manual combination that makes an old Suburban especially fun to drive. Finished in Green with a Black interior, it has been refreshed with new paint, custom wheels and tires, updated lighting and a clean, comfortable interior. A rebuilt 350 V8 and a Four-Speed Manual transmission give this Suburban a strong driver-oriented setup, while power steering and power brakes make it much easier to live with.

Maintenance & Vehicle History
The 350ci V8 was rebuilt and has approximately 6,000 miles since the rebuild. The engine bay is tidy, and the truck is reported to run and drive great. The recent updates include new paint, custom wheels and tires, new upholstery, LED lighting and an updated Alpine stereo. Inside, the front and rear bench seating keeps the Suburban's practical character intact while the digital dash and tilt chrome steering column add a more customized feel. With its three-door configuration, Four-Speed Manual, rebuilt 350 and tow package, this Suburban has the right combination of utility and old-school character. It's a classic Chevrolet that can haul, cruise and actually be driven rather than simply parked. This cool Chevy Suburban is located in Brea, CA.

🧠 Did you know?
The 1972 Chevrolet Suburban was the final year of Chevrolet’s sixth-generation Suburban, a generation that helped establish the formula for the full-size SUV that remains familiar today. A lesser-known fact is that 1972 was the final year the Suburban was offered with the traditional three-door body style—featuring one door on the driver's side and two on the passenger's side—before Chevrolet introduced a standard four-door Suburban for 1973. The Suburban was available in both C10 rear-wheel-drive and K10 four-wheel-drive configurations, with engine choices including Chevrolet’s 250 and 292 cubic-inch inline-sixes and several V8s, including the 350 and 400. Its long wheelbase and enclosed rear cargo area made it equally useful as a family vehicle, work truck, or tow vehicle. With its rugged construction, straightforward mechanicals, and distinctive early-1970s styling, the 1972 Suburban represents the end of an important chapter in the history of one of America’s longest-running nameplates.
